American Spirit case, silver solder, copper tape, steel, wire, metal rings, 2.5" x 7" x 1", completed March 2024. "Cig Case" is a memorial for outgrown habits, relationships, towns–it acknowledges both the preciousness and sharp edges of these experiences. The box is carefully decorated and preserved, meanwhile being unopenable and holding nothing but dust.
